Kevins Top 1D

Kevins Top 1D

thingiverse

Hey look, I designed a top. I printed a few other designs from Thingiverse and thought I'd try designing some myself. I'm not great at spinning them, but it spun over two minutes for me. It could probably last longer. A "plug" the size of the holes in the top is included and can be printed. Initially, I thought the plug might help with alignment during gluing or just look good, but I didn't use it and don't think it's useful. If you print plugs, printing with a brim would probably be a good idea. The model comes as one piece. I don't recommend printing supports. Instead, cut the model in half using your slicer or another tool, print both halves, and glue them together with CA glue. See the screen capture in the images to understand better.
