Key and Hammer

Key and Hammer

This is the final and best result of my "Key and Hammer" project. I've been designing and printing this set up to test it, and this one finally works. The key is weighted to pull back up after being pressed down, and in the process, the frame knocks the hammer back into it's former position. I hope someone finds a use for this project, I had a lot of fun designing it! Cheers friends! Print Settings Printer Brand: MakerBot Printer: MakerBot Replicator Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Yes Resolution: .2 mm Infill: depends.. It's mostly hollow, but 10% wouldn't hurt Notes: I've printed the infill at 60% in the past because the MakerBot Desktop program creates these weird blank sections even when the mesh is in good condition. I would just be wary when printing. Make sure that everything that shows up here and in your design program when you open these files shows up on your printing program as well. 10% should work, my computer was just acting glitchy. Yet again, these are small and basically hollow, so I've clearly gone off on this topic for too long!
