Key Fobs in Two Colors

thingiverse

Some experiments in two color printing with a one color printer. Makerbot's fifth generation printer can be paused, the filament changed, and printing resumed. Simple, flat two or three color prints are easily done. OpenSCAD code written for two color printers was used for these experiments. see - https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:27934 - "Coins or Pendants". Snowflakes were used for decorations in place of the original set of plane curves. see - https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2698413 - "Ornament with Snowflake drawings". The code is almost identical to the original version and should still work with a two color printer. Two stl files are given: one decorated on a single side, the top; a second decorated on both sides. Instructions for making two or three color prints are given in the section on printing. The openSCAD code has more information and includes modules for additional snowflakes.
