Key Organizer (KeyBar)

Welcome to my first post to Thingiverse. Figured I've taken and used so many designs from others, it was high time I uploaded one of my own for you all to enjoy. If you're anything like me and had a mess of keys on your key ring and were just fed up with the noise and constant searching for the right key, well then this is the print for you. This is my own take on the KeyBar key organizer system. I figured I owned a 3D printer, why not try and make on of those myself. I created the design in Fusion 360, learning the program as I went. Came up with this design that mirrors the design of the real thing. I kept the .STL file blank, but you can add or include any name or design you'd like. You're really just limited to your 3D modeling capability and your imagination. I chose to include my first and last name, one on each plate of the two piece set. Once printed, I used the hardware set off of KeyBars website to mimic the same set up they use. Using the provided screws (3 different size options), spacers, and rubber o-rings I was able to create my own version of this 3D KeyBar key organizer. Link below for where I obtained the hardware. https://www.keybar.us/product/hardware-set/ For context, I printed this back in late August of 2019. This has stood the test of time since then. One note about assembly. Assembling the organizer for the first time can be a bit of a pain as there are a lot of pieces involved. Feeding through the screw, putting the keys in order, ensuring to add the washers as spacers and finally closing up the other side and screwing it down is doable, but might take a bit extra patience. Don't worry, once you get it screwed on and the tension dialed in to allow for key retention, but loose enough to still open the keys, you'll be all set. Since the initial assembly back in 2019, i've not had to make a single adjustment to the tightness of the keys.
