Key to the Bastille

Key to the Bastille

thingiverse

On July 14th, 1789 the Bastille fortress was stormed during the French Revolution. Marquis de Lafayette gave the key to the Bastille to George Washington in 1790. This key is a dead-on replica of that key which is now on display in the museum at Mount Vernon. Make your own in time for Bastille Day. It's tomorrow so get going! Created by Todd Blatt Instructions Print both halves, glue together. Use mouse ears to help it lay flat if you have trouble with curling. The mouse ears hang off the bed a little bit if you make this at full scale, but it's okay; it'll still work. -Todd
