A jacket, nest, warm home, for your Mercutio keyboard. The Mercutio keyboard is a keyboard kit sold by MechWild (https://mechwild.com/product/mercutio/). By default, the keyboard has a barebones type feel, with no typing angle.

I designed this case to house your Mercutio keyboard and provide a nice typing angle to suit. Composed of 3 main pieces and printed vertically, layer stacking ridges are hidden on the back side. The 2 side accent inlay pieces are a nice addition to match the middle stripe or contrast completely with a different color.

All pieces are designed to be printed vertically, that means the middle stripe will need supports. The inserts are press fit into place. I recommend super gluing the middle stripe to one of the side pieces, then you can slide both halves around your keyboard. For normal day to day use on the desk, the friction fitment will suffice. If traveling or moving your keyboard frequently, I recommend a tiny tiny dot of hot glue on the back of the keyboard where both halves will sit, then quickly sliding on the case. The pieces will then stay in place, and if needed, you can remove the case with extra force and peel the hot glue off easily enough.

In the images, I used Prusament Galaxy Black PLA and a random Amazon marble filament.
