PRINT CAP TOP DOWN, AND POD BOTTOM DOWN. Check print settings for more information. The cap features a large, durable mounting hole for keychain use The mounting hole protrusion also acts as a grip for the tightening of the cap There is a small protrusion on the top edge of the rim of the cylinder where it contacts the cap, this is essential in ensuring enough friction to prevent the cap from opening accidentally. The threads are tight off the press,, but free up easily with the use of a light lubricant like petroleum jelly, though this may degrade the part.. it is optional.. The inside wastes no space, the wall thickness is always consistent, allowing for a larger internal space within the same profile as other pods. The lack of unnecessary extra features allows for a larger internal space and lower overall profile. All edges have been broken in the file, so the edges are more durable and resistant to friction. I hope you all like it, I haven't ever posted anything before. I thought I'd share a design that anyone can print with about 10g of material and an hour, it also happens to be very well engineered, and practical, only in opinion of course. if you have any suggestions, aside from making the build lighter, please leave a comment, and you can expect to see an updated file promptly if I agree it is an improvement that suits the use case.
