Keyed Silicone Mold Form

Keyed Silicone Mold Form

Please read before use: I did not reorient prints, please make sure to do so based on your printer configuration. This mold form was initially designed for dice, but can be used for any two part mold that will fit. The key is designed to drop in to the center of the form to create keys for the two part mold. It is recommended to wrap the key in packing tape (sticky side out) or two sided tape to hold down your item (dice) to create a flush surface. Make sure to cut away any tape covering the key slots. The end cap is designed to be a bit loose for easier removal. After completing the first pour, remove end cap, key, and mold. Coat mold form in vaseline (or mold release of choice but vaseline will help get your silicone back in the form) Flip mold, replace end cap (the key can be put to the side for future use, it is not needed in the second pour). Coat the top of the first pour in a very thin layer of vaseline (or baby powder, whatever you like). This should be a super thin layer. Pour silicone. This mold form can be used in a pressure pot (and is honestly recommended). Enjoy, feedback and questions welcome and appreciated.
