Keyport xacto Blade

My first Thingiverse thing. Was disappointed that keyport didn't have a knife blade in their offerings so I made one, took the keyport head from Belfry's Slide Blade Key Generator and the idea of embedding the blade into the plastic from foofoodog. #11 xacto embeds into the keyport head, it is not removable. You need to pause print just before it starts to bridge over where the blade goes, I put some supports in to keep the blade from falling out during the rest of the print. I've had the best luck leaving the blade sitting on the print bed to get warm before putting it into the print. Update 4-8-2016: I've cleaned up the scad file significantly, and I've added a new STL for a #25 blade which I think is a slight improvement on the #11 for durability and general use. Print Settings Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: ormerod 2 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.25mm Infill: 100% Notes: I printed with a layer height of 0.25mm, though anything that gives an even 0.50mm for the blade should work (e.g. 0.125mm or 0.1mm) You need to insert a pause in the gcode to put insert the blade, mine was at 2.2mm. For my reprap I used: G1 X100 Y150 Z2.2 F2000 ; move head out of the way M226 ; pause Be Careful when inserting the blade, it's sharp!
