Printable replacement keyring and keytops for a Corona portable typewriter of the thirties to late forties. In case the original keys are damaged or missing, new keytops and plastic locking rings to fit onto the stems. Replacement for the metal-rimmed dimpled keytops. Keytops have the hollowed top surface and need a printed sticker to be applied for the lettering for the machine's layout. The tops snap into the keyrings. The keyrings snap onto the metal pads at the end of the keybars of the typewriter. Because of some variations in exact diameter of the metal pads of the stems and in printing accuracy, you may want to add a small pad of double-sided adhesive tape to prevent rotation and keep the ring in place. Ideally the ring snaps over the pad and locks with the key stem cutting into the flags at the back of the pad. The Key~ parts fit the 14mm keys and the Shift~ parts fit the 16mm shift keys. Post-Printing Cleaning parts With FDM printing, sand down or cut off any stringing or final drip of the printer for correct fit. Use one or two layers of printed label on the keytops for a smooth and comfortable keytop.
