This is a cosplay of the Egyptian god Khonshu, as represented in Marvel's Moon Knight. My costume drew inspiration from a few images of Khonshu's depiction in comics.

This was designed explicitly to fit my head, but it may work for other people. I remixed the skull helmet from “Khonshu skull as ornament” by SK9N. All other parts are my original design. If you want to make the helmet fit your head perfectly, scan your head, scale the mesh to the correct size, and subtract it from SK9N's file, or any other bird skull. Then you can cut it into pieces to print and wear.

There are holes inside of the parts for magnets, but it turned out to not be strong enough to hold it together on my head. So instead I glued together every part except “Skull Front Right Pt2.” With this part left out, it is just possible to slip your head inside the helmet. After that, it can be put in place. The magnets do help to hold that one particular part inside, but you could also use masking tape, velcro, or any other clever solution. If you care to use the magnets, they are sized 3mm by 6mm.

The arm braces are designed to be printed in vase mode or a similar manner, and then cut down the length to allow them to fit over your arm. Then they can be taped together from the inside.

The necklace is designed to be threaded together through the holes in the parts. I ended up not using all 18 pieces and only threading through one side, so have fun with it, it doesn't really matter.

The rest of the costume is made out of a white morph suit, a cut sheet for a cape, torn sheets for mummy wrappings, a white belt, white shoes, and an aluminum rod.

I printed the gold parts in Overture Silk Gold, and the white parts in Hatchbox White PLA and Creality White PLA. Print the parts for the skull as light as possible. I suggest using only one perimeter on all parts, with 5% or less Gyroid infill. I actually printed “Skull Beak Tip” in vase mode, which I highly suggest.

I used Aleene's Original Tacky Glue for the helmet, and Gorilla Super Glue for the moon staff. Masking tape was used extensively along the way to hold things together.

Happy Printing, and Happy Halloween!
