Kill la Kill Rending Scissors Scissor Blades

This is only for the files! Not a print of the actual blade(s)! Ryuko in her quest to discover her father's killer carries with her the very blade that he was killed with. Her search leads her to Honnouji Academy in which gratuitous nudity, sexual innuendos, and some well deserved beatdowns! Some of these to protect her self-elected best friend Mako, some for challenges in her path to get to Satsuki and any information on her father's killer! Ryuko is searching for the second half to her Scissor blade and expects whomever has it to have killed her father. That's all I'm saying about that. Want to know more? Watch the series! As with all my other print files, they've been separated into sections to fit a CR-10 printer (300x300 bed). With this design not having a standard blade shape, I've had to separate the supporting rods that keep these together. I don't think I can shrink some of these components any smaller than I did and still keep a decent structural integrity. If you want it simply for show, hit me up and I can break them down a bit more to print on a smaller printer. The primary blade is 47.5 inches (just shy of 4 feet!) and the secondary blade is at 45 inches in length. Each blade uses just about a full spool of filament. The primary blade (right blade) will use two support rods. The holes are sized for 1/4 dowels and will include holes for 1/4x20 coupling nuts to be able to use a threaded rod and give the blades a better weight. Here are the lengths needed for the various 1/4" support rods: Right (red) blade: 1 - 18" 1 - 24" 3 - 2" 1 - 4" 4 - 1/4"x20 coupling nuts Left (purple) blade: 1 - 18" 1 - 24" 1 - 4" 8 - 2" 3 - 1/4"x20 coupling nuts I included images from my test print (and the horrible horrible gluing job I did) of both blades and the included bolt to join them. The right blade is designed to expand as well to get the extra umph sometimes needed to get those Life Fibers! The hinge to expand the handle uses two chicago bolts that are 35mm long and 5mm wide. ...it's what I had on hand!
