Kimmie and Georgie Wood Block

I decided to make another wood block similar to my first project for my friend because she liked it a lot. The corner designs are the same but everything else is slightly different. After printing, I had to go over the words and heart in brown permanent marker so that they would stand out from everything else. Instructions Making this wood block is really easy. Simply create a design in Illustrator or other sketch program. Measure the height and width so that and do some quick math to make sure the design will start on the correct place on the block. Because I couldn't find a heart design I liked, I drew my own heart, scanned it into Photoshop and make some slight adjustments. The printing settings on the Epilog Engraver are 50/100. Lastly, any part of the design you want to stand out should be traced in a dark permanent marker.
