Kinesin Walking Protein 3D model

This is an animation of a kinesin walking protein. The walk is looping so you can have it walking kilometers if you want to! Please notice that I used the octane scatter for the microtubule it's working on. This way it is really fast to render but you will have to use a regular cloner if you want to use it with another renderer than octane. There is also an alembic you can use in a different 3d software such as Houdini. You can watch the attached video kinesinWalk_usingAlembicInHoudini.flv to see how it works in Houdini (it's listed as Other). Notice that, in this case, you will have to set up the hdri and shaders as they are not transferable from one software to the other.
