Replacement for a broken spindle lock button on the handheld router King Craft KBF-1050N. It does not replicate the button mechanism but is basically a small custom wrench that will interlock with the cavity on the router when pressed in lightly with the thumb. You can then tighten or loosen the spindle nut with a regular wrench with your other hand. This might not be very useful as is, as this is an old router that few people will have anymore. But it can give you an inspiration how to design a part for your own broken router lock button. You might even adapt the FreeCAD source file that I provided. After printing, lightly drill out the central hole with a 6.5 mm bit, then press in a 24 mm end section of an old 6.5 mm bit into the hole. It should stick out exactly 3.0 mm. Pressing in with a vise or similar is recommended. At least when printing in PETG, which has some flexibility to it, the inset will hold tightly without need for glue or the like.
