King Oil Drilling Derrick Replacement Part

Perhaps the most crucial part of the entire game, it's either lost, broken or stolen. Here's a replacement that you can make in your RESIN printer (I don't think a filament printer would have the tolerances you need to pull it off, but hey, prove me wrong!) Once printed and cured, use super glue to bind the 4 moving parts inside the drill body. Start by gluing the 6k, 4k and 2.5mm-diam/80mm-long wire together (make sure it's fully seated into the 6k piece). THEN take the 2k piece, slip it onto the wire and glue it to the bottom of the 4k. Don't let it sneak back into the derrick body before the glue has a chance to dry. Happy drillin'! For an 82mm wire with an appropriate diameter, take a pair of pliers to one of those wire hangers that Joan Collins hated so much. :) For the other playing pieces, here's a link: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4736625 If you found this useful, it would bring me great joy to see your work - so be sure to share. :) Or, better yet, please feel free to dump a bitcoin or two here: 1Py3TUeR8noBN2giHyFV1GfB6x3Kh2WEVv ... include a note to the effect of "Hi 3E8, thanks for the King Oil thing... my life has improved five-fold on account of it and please accept this paltry amount in gratitude". You're welcome! (in advance) :D Also, feel free to peruse my other submissions which are almost as varied as they are many: http://www.thingiverse.com/3E8/designs Enjoy!
