Update: 2022-08-26: New V2 version added, this version comes with holes so that you can attach it to two of the screws in the battery box for stronger support. When I switched from my Clark Pads that was 1 big pad to Grizzla pads that are 2 smaller padsI noticed that they had a tendency to move around a bit due to smaller velcro area so I made this version to make it stay in place better. A simple yet effective pad support for the King Song S22 for installing 3rd party pads. The shell/battery casing of the KS S22 has limited horizontal space for installing pads therefor when you install pads it's very likely that they will protrude which also means they will lose some effectiveness, personally I use the Clark Pads and the way I set my pads up they end up far enough back that I will completely lose braking support. The concept for this support is the same as the red fins shipped with the stock pads only these supports have different dimensions and a more efficient design for more robust support of the pads. V2 of these supports are installed by screwing them onto the battery box with 2 screws (see photos) and then using velcro where the pad will rest. V2 Installation - Step 1: Unscrew 2 of the screws on the upper side of the battery box, these hold the upper metal frame in place. V2 Installation - Step 2: Screw the pad support on with the 2 screws that was removed in step 1, don't forget to put some loctite there, tighten it with decent torque but remember that you're working with plastic like material so not too hard. V2 Installation - Step 3: Put a strip of velcro on the side of the support that will be facing the pad. V1 of these supports are installed simply by using velcro where the pad will rest and attaching it to the pad (see photo). V1 Installation - Step 1: Install your pads in the position that you want them on your shell without the support. V1 Installation - Step 2: Once you have your pads in the correct position just lift the protruding part, slide in the support so that it aligns in the middle of the pad and so that the L shape of the support rests perfectly against the shell/casing of the wheel then simply push the pad onto the support to connect the velcro. V1 Repositioning your pads: If you just want to adjust your pads vertically the support can stay on them as a point of reference and then you just move them up or down. If you intend to reposition the pads horizontally then remove the support first and just start from installation step 1.
