King Song S22 Headlight Bumper with Anti-Glare

This is a bumper for the headlights on the King Song S22 which is meant to give a bit of soft protection around the headlights which are otherwise quite exposed. The bumpers have an anti-glare function built into them, the lighting on the S22 is great but it also cause a lot of glare for on-coming traffic and pedestrians which generally is a big problem amongst EUC's in darker urban environments. I recognize that some people have a fairing system or pads that protrude over where the lights are so I have also made available a thinner model that only gives the anti-glare function minus most of the protection (S22Headlight_AntiGlare_Only.stl). The models are specific for left and right headlight so you need to print both S22HeadlightProtectorRight.stl and S22HeadlightProtectorLeft.stl, these are mirrors of each other. Both the bumpers and the anti-glare only version have ventilation cutouts on the sides as I am unsure how much air is needed to cool the leds, better safe than sorry. <strong>Installation:</strong> Installation is a bit fiddly on purpose in order for the bumpers to stay firmly in place. 1. First fully extend the headlights to the lowest position 2. Then get the two flaps located behind the bumper to slide in behind the headlight 3. Last step is getting the bottom flap on the bumper under the headlight which is the fiddly part where you might have to jiggle and work with the bumper to get it fully in place 4. Once in place the bumpers should sit firmly over the headlight with no risk of accidentally falling off <strong>One thing I want to try but haven't gotten around to yet is to glue some tinfoil under each anti-glare cap which will reflect even more light downwards.</strong>
