I made this part for my friends Kingman Eraser .48 caliber paintball handgun. the original connecting rod cover was made out of aluminum and it kept bending and letting the connecting rod pop out of place. We called Kingman for a replacement but the part was no longer manufactured and to have one CNC machined would have been too cost prohibitive, the gun itself was only worth 79$ US. I designed three different versions and after some careful thinking we went with the thickest version and went ahead and 3D printed it at a local company in Montreal called fablabs.com. The part cost about 30$ to make and it worked perfectly the first time. The fit was PERFECT, nice and snug and now the gun works great. I was really happy with the results and that everything was specked properly the first go. So if you have this gun and are having issues with it, download this .stl and 3D print it, problem solved! likes and comments are appreciated.
