Kings Coaster Remix (Plate border added with multicolor print optimized)

This is a remix from user darkstarinc, thank you! I added the white baseplate and optimized the print for multicolor instead of painting it after printing. I used tinkercad to do my edits and then used cura to slice it. Once sliced you have to go to layer view and find out which layer you want to switch the colors on. Add a pause at layer into the gcode from the cura menu (youtube this if unsure) and then print it, swapping the filament at the pause. My pause ended up being layer 11 and I think .16 layer height. Ask if you have any questions. Print took about 3 hours with the pause included but im sure it can be done faster with minimal quality sacrifice. I chose not to make a container to hold the coasters, maybe a project for the future....

Print instructions

Category: Kitchen & Dining Print Settings

Printer Brand: Creality

Printer: Ender 3 Pro

Rafts: No

Supports: No

Resolution: .16

Infill: 20%

Filament: Hatcbox(white), Amazonbasics(black) PLA White and Black
Notes:

Print temp was 205 degrees for both PLA. Make sure not to bump the printer when changing filament. Did this once and experienced a layer shift
