In the Count of Monte Cristo, Edmond and Fernand (best friends) Trade a Chess piece back and forth as a kind of Congratulatory gesture. This is my friends favorite book of all time. So for years we had been trading a dollar store chess piece back and forth in the same manner. It got lost, so I decided to make a new one. I made it into a keychain (so it wouldn't get lost again), but didn't like any of the Kings I could find out there. So I made this on from scratch, with the cross laying down on the kings head so it wouldn't break off over time, and added the "Kings to You" message to the bottom of the piece.
