Kirvin Park battle of the Beavers

I’ve been experimenting with some drone mapping software and tried it out on some wetlands at an undisclosed Pittsfield, MA. This is an area that was utilized as an evaporation pond to keep stormwater from overwhelming the local infrastructure until a beaver decided to utilize it as a beaver pond. It was actually really nice, Great Blue Herons, Egrets, and waterfowl started populating the area. But since it was not designated as a natural wetland, humans decided to take it back to its original purpose and remove the beaver dam (and likely, the beaver as well).
