<p>Update: This is still very sturdy and works great. 3 years later.</p><p>This stand is to help my 2 year old climb up to wash his hands, help cook, or snack at the counter while watching me cook. We actually have it in the bathroom now, for him to wash his hands after potty, and we sit on it when he's taking a bath.</p><p>I cut it on my MPCNC machine, out of 3/4" Baltic Birch Plywood. I filled any exposed gaps with sawdust and epoxy. I rounded over the edges with a router. The height of the bottom shelf, and the height of the rear support are critical. I might make another one. If I do, I'll probably cut an inset where these pieces go, so that they are easier to assemble.</p>
