I wasn't satisfied with the kitchenaid mixer grain mill attachment, as I had to continuously babysit and refill the hopper when milling my beer grains. This hopper nests on top of the mill nicely, and takes the capacity of this mill from <1lb to over 5lbs. Instead of constantly refilling, I can now just fill this hopper a few times and go about doing other things!
