The main difference is that this one is in OpenSCAD. I could not get the original STL to import properly. This version prints a blank plug, and then the coin that you can glue on. If you have an STL of any logo or artwork, you should be able to replace the logo in the coin. For some reason, Skeinforge refuses to fill the square in the logo. Hmmm. This thing is related to "Kitchenaid Mixer 'Mixer' Attachment Cap by syvwlch":http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:8429 From the original thing: This is a replacement cover for a Kitchenaid mixer's attachment port. A friend of mine lost his and I offered to model and print a replacement. This fits my new "Classic Plus" as well as a ~15 year old "Artisan" I tried at my parents house. I imagine it should fit the majority of mixers. I’ve uploaded both a Makerbot branded and plain cap (suitable for customization). More information and pictures available in this blog post: thenewhobbyist.com/2011/05/everyday-fixes-with-makerbot-2-kitchenaid-cap/ Instructions If you use "CF KitchenAid Plug 0v0.stl" you have to glue, but do not have to mess with support. Or you can use "Visual Only 0v0.stl" with support and no glue. From the original thing: Print Insert into the mixer's attachment port Screw in with the attachment screw (you didn't lose that too did you?!)
