KitchenAid Replacement Knob

KitchenAid Replacement Knob

thingiverse

Here is a replacement knob for a KitchenAid stand mixer. Came home to a broken one and of course no one knows how that happened. No biggie, just print one. The hole is slightly smaller than the diameter of the shaft because I heated the shaft with a heat gun and pressed it into place. When it cooled, it held well. I used PLA which melts at a lower temp. If you use ABS you may have to print it at 101% to allow for shrinkage. I printed the wall thickness at 4 layers to ensure it was tough enough to withstand that abuse.
