I guess that mostly everyone that uses VR headsets that are connected to a PC via cable knows that a proper cable management is mandatory. As I have high ceilings (>2.8 meters), there is lot's of space to use some pulleys to hold the cables. The downside of this is, that you need a ladder to be able to reach the ceiling and the pulleys. I am using the pulley set by KIWI (actually the version 2 of the pulleys). As I am using the VR kit in my livingroom, I will need to be able to remove the VR stuff from time to time. As I don't want to get onto a ladder each time I want to remove the pulleys from the ceiling, I created this piece that can be attached to a paint roller stick and allows to remove the pulleys in a matter of seconds from their hooks. You can watch the video to see, how well it works at https://youtu.be/L1KwHh6QgLA It is quite easy to print, as it consists of two parts and the part that allows attaching it to the paint roller stick can be easily replaced by something else. The two parts need to be glued together in the end. I know that the mount is sightly too large and overlaps the grabber, but I decided that this works for my prototype.
