Klein Bottle

<p>This is a Klein Bottle design, which was implemented in OpenSCAD.</p><p>I found the parameterisation of the classic form at:</p><p><a href="https://mathcurve.com/surfaces.gb/klein/klein.shtml">https://mathcurve.com/surfaces.gb/klein/klein.shtml</a></p><p>The given parameterisation consists of two parts, for the top and bottom part of the bottle.</p><p>Originally I only implemented the Klein surface, but on popular request I have now also uploaded a version that has a “hole” and thus can be used as a vase.</p><p>I was able to implement the Klein surface as one single surface in OpenSCAD.</p><p>I didn't get this to work for the version with the “hole” though, due to an issue with OpenSCAD v2021.01, both halves cannot be rendered at the same time, but must be rendered individually.</p><p>I used Meshmixer to put the two halves of the bottle together.</p><p>The OpenSCAD source files for both versions can be found on GitHub:</p><p><a href="https://github.com/typicaltinkerer/klein-bottle">https://github.com/typicaltinkerer/klein-bottle</a></p><p>&nbsp;</p>
