Update: 01-31-17 I split the main blade file down the thin side so that the blade can be printed without any supports. Print top and bottom half of main blade, glue together and enjoy. The previous mainblade had a custom support structure setup under the blade causing a very rough surface requiring lots of bondo and sanding to repair, now fixed. Component stl files of the Klingon Daq Tahg dagger by MrGundam ready for printing. These .stl files include bed attachment feet for each piece, just use an exacto knife to remove the foot after printing. Instructions Sliced with KisSlicer Pro and printed on Lulzbot TAZ, January '14. At this stock size, the main blade with custom support material is 287.2mm long, and is going to require a printer with a large bed. 0.100mm layer height for the 3 blades for the sharp edges and wicked overhang areas. 0.150-0.200mm layer height for the handles Turn on support for the two handle pieces(not much needed). Print each piece, use auto body filler(bondo) on the bottom of main blade, sand/file/test fit(rinse and repeat), paint parts your favorite color, then slip together and glue.
