Klingon Disruptor (Search for Spock)

Klingon Disruptor used by Commander Kruge in The Search For Spock. The project was designed completely from images found in Google Search and was a request from a friend. It is a prototype for the final prop which I plan on having replaceable modules so that you don't have to re-print the entire object. Instructions The STLs were designed for a 6" bed, which is why there are so many pieces. The project has 2 distinct STLs for each side of the project (a normal and a -r file). Each piece needs to be printed for the full object. The greebles.STL file is all the decorative bits for the unit. The handle slots into the Body1 piece to complete the project. You will need to either attach the handles before joining or find a way to remove some of the Body1 connection so that it will drop in on its own. I'm still working on that part. Each part that has a connecting part also uses a form of "biscuit" to ensure that the correct piece goes into the correct slot. The connecting rods are just 1/2" dowel in 2 lengths: 2 x 6" and 1 x 3 1/2" Originally, I had planned for the handle to be connected by a screw, but I still have some work to do on that. As it is, there are 2 3mm holes on each side of the handle. They are covered by the grips and the insignias. When in doubt as to how it's supposed to look like, google Klingon Distruptor images. This will give you all my source material, such as it was, that you can use to assemble the project. NOTE!!!!!!!! If you are unable to print without corners lifting or curling, DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS PRINT. Joining these parts without having straight edges will cause you a lot of grief! Believe me, I know.
