Knee Joint prosthesis and Knee Simulator

In this project, the main aim is to design a knee simulator with a simple system that has lesser weight and not that bulky to test the loads acting on a knee joint/implant.We have also designed a knee implant prototype in SOLID WORKS on which stress analysis is performed and total deformation is obtained.We have introduced equivalent stress analysis with three different loads for 10,000 Cycles on a knee implant and the whole simulator with the knee implant in place.We have developed a Knee Simulator Test Rig which efficiently performs flexion-extension motion on a knee implant with reduced time intervals. This design costs lesser to construct and manufacture.
