Knife Grinding Jig

I wanted to try knife making without investing thousands into the hobby before I know I like it. This is one of my shortcut. I did take inspiration from Black Beard Project's knife grinding jig, however my dimensions and setup is different, so the model is made by me. Wood is MDF I harvested from an IKEA dishwaser delivery. You will need M8 bolts and nuts also. Full list of things: 2x 230x60x15mm MDF (or any hardwood), for long lasting option take same size in aluminium or steel, for metal thickness can be less 2x M8x50 bolt (for the knob) 2x M5x60 bolt (for the hinge) 1x M8x90 bolt (or longer) 7x M8 nut (knob has 2 each, on on the bottom holding the bolt, one on top to fit the knob) 2x M8 washer 8-10 small wood screws to mount the hinges to the wood Knobs are press fit on the nuts. You can make it more lasting with threaded inserts for mounting knife. Or just discard the MDF when the screws chew it up. dxf is there so thingiverse allows uploading 3mf. You can slice 3mf with any slicer
