Knife handle for 1 screw blade

This is a knife handle for a blade that had lost its handle about 6 years ago. When wife decided to throw it away, I knew it was time to try to make it useful again. I'm not sure if it is of any use to anyone else, but here it goes anyway. I used two 4-40 machine screws that were 3/4-inch long initially (and corresponding nuts). I cut them to match the required dimensions for the handle. See images. The inside of the handle has a pocket to accommodate the blade. You may want to heat the blade before clamping it, so that it melts into the handle ... especially if your handle is thicker than 1.2mm. I usually have to scale by 10 all my drawings when they go into my slicer. It maybe because I draw them in mm and slicers may expect cm.
