Knob, Valve, Hose Quick Disconnect

I've probably had this solid brass shutoff valve and quick connect for 30 years. So when the knob for the shutoff valve broke I quickly thought of making a new one. This was a quick and functional design meant to get the job done. It was printed in Blue Translucent PETG because it was on hand and the color doesn't matter. I'm hoping the PETG holds up to the abuse and harsh environment of outdoors. This hose is on the south side of our home and receives constant harsh sunlight all season long. To reduce UV damage I painted the part with 3 coats of black Rustoleum paint.
