This is functionally the same handle as rev 2 with some ergo changes to the handle itself. There is now a smooth finger stop and a slight curve to better fit the users hands while looking for the release. Because of the under dash location there will be no visual cue's and only a tactile cue will allow the user to operate the mechanism. This is similar for the rear. Even though the handle is visible the user will be standing next to the car with their left hand down the B-pillar while grabbing the hood with their right hand. The change in shape for the handle allows the removal of structural ribs under the body for a further reduction in weight while maintaining its structural integrity.
