Here is a lense design that aims at being functional, expandable and interchangeable. The lense system is comprised of 3 main parts, the lense base and lense insert options. The lense base is screwed to the camera body and remains permanently attached, this is advantageous to a slip on design as it does not interfere with the focus ring and will never slip off. The lense base allows for a multitude of different filters and covers to be attached. Custom made filters or pre-cut purchased filters are placed between two plates and screwed together. The plates offer the option of changing and customizing filters on the fly, but the idea would be have a few filters assembled so they can be swapped out even faster. The filters assemblies are simply rotated and locked into place into the lense base and everything is ready for shooting, with full access to the focus ring. Once finished with the camera, the full piece cover insert can be put in place to protect the lense from dust. Furthermore, the system allows for other cover designs to be used, such as pin hole covers. All design cues are kept in tune with the Lomography and Konstruktor brand.
