I love the outdoors, and I tend to be a little rough on any camera, on every adventure. My entry consists of an enclosed hard-shell textured case with removable top & lens covers for spur of the moment photos. Both sides of the case have quick release buckles to remove the top cover exposing the Konstruktor camera. The rear of the case has the all important strap attachment, and the lens cap has a fitting alignment to the front case body. HARDPROOF your photography :) Created in Solidworks, rendered in Keyshot My Process: 1. To model this case, I used top-down design, using in-context part modeling for sketch geometry which fit around the available 3d model of the Konstruktor camera. 2. Then I used surfaces to form a shell around the camera leaving additional room/tolerances for connection points, seams, and buckles. 3. After creating a single solid body, I shelled it, then split it into multiple bodies which became the four final bodies for connection. 4. Put the final detailing features into the case, texturing the outside surfaces for non-slip operation, seam joints, buckles, and text.
