This is a 10th scale model of the Kontinuum Garden. It is a scale-accurate representation of the full size garden. It has a small hand-crank that turns the wheel, and a couple of small led's in the middle letting out purple light. We are funding the development of the Kontinuum Garden and Kontinuum Reprap on www.Indiegogo.com/Kontinuumgarden Please go check it out. Instructions The .AOI file contains the finished model and all the original geometry used to make it. AOI (Art Of Illusion) is a FREE 3d-program, which you can use to make changes to the original model before printing. To make the project properly open-source, we will be publishing all of our models in this format as well as the sliceable stl-files. We are also working on learning som openscad, but for now you're stuck with AOI... To build the Kontinuum Mini Garden you will need to print 6 stl's: 1 x KG Mini Base and SuppWheels_10.stl 1 x KG_Mini_Gear_and_15_Rails.stl 1 x KG_Mini_Handcrank_01c.stl 1 x KG_Mini_Wheel_and_17_Boxes_05.stl 1 x Lamp Support 03.stl 1 x KG Mini Lamp.stl and you will also need: 1x M3 30mm screw w/nut 3x M3 16mm screws 2x small wood screws (I use 15mm and then cut them down! 2x small springs (from a ball-point pen for example) 1x on/off switch. I found one that measures 10x4mm which will fit in the hole in the base, but if your switch is different, just adjust the stl. 1x 100 ohm resistor 2x 3mm LED.
