Koowheel D3M Circuit Case

This is a replacement PCB case for the Koowheel D3M electric skateboard. The original is is prone to breaking due to several design issues, making your board unusable after only a few months of use. This is an attempt to mitigate design issues and provide a reliable replacement. *DANGER* 1. This design requires your battery and PCB to have new connectors soldered. Modifying LiPo batteries or any other high power circuit is extremely risky and should only be attempted if you're absolutely sure what you're doing. Please don't burn your house down. 2. In no way do I guarantee any level of water resistance. *Design improvements over original:* *Battery connector* The original Koowheel case uses a rigid connection between battery and circuit board, which is prone to disconnects and can't handle flex in the board well. This design uses a female XT60 connector which is mounted in the case, which should be attached to high gauge silicone wire for best reliability. This allows board flex and makes a very secure connection. *Case mounts* The original case mounts on the Koowheel are thin and prone to breaking due to board flex. These mounts use more material and should hold up a lot longer. *PCB mounts* The original PCB is mounted into the case using potting compound. Although this protects against moisture, it makes disassembly complicated. This design uses four 3mm mounting bosses to mount the PCB to the case for easy reassembly. I recommend soft mounting the PCB using some silicone wire or a rubber grommet to prevent the PCB from flexing and external shock. When you're interested I'll upload source files to play with.
