<p>Even though the <a href="https://www.kopp.eu/en/produkt/powerversal-6-way-with-switch-with-shutter-cable-1-4-m/">Kopp Powerversal</a> power distribution are completely made of plastic (don't get fooled by the aluminum look), they are made extremely well from the electrical standpoint. Additionally, the power sockets have the right angle.&nbsp;</p><p>The original mounting ears can be used in 19 inch server racks, but the build up high, so my homelab server rack door doesn't fit anymore.&nbsp;</p><p>That's why I created these mounting ears.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Printing</strong></p><p>You don't need any support. The design is made to work out of the box. Use the 3MF File if you want to see how I placed them on my print bed.&nbsp;</p><p><br><strong>Assembly</strong></p><p>Disconnect ever cable and connection before working on this PDU! If you are not an electrical engineer - keep away for your own safety. Working with 240V can insure and cause death! Be warned!&nbsp;</p><p>After removing the two original mounting ears, remove the strain relief and disconnect the power lead cable inside the case. &nbsp;You will need all screws and the strain relief at the assembly!&nbsp;</p><p>Push the near ear on the power-lead side without any cables attached and use the ear as a sketch to find the right spot to drill a 8mm hole into the case. Then cut away the two sides, as seen in the photos.&nbsp;</p><p>Now add the strain relief again and connect the cables inside the case again. Double-check the correct wiring and a good fit of the strain relief.&nbsp;</p><p>Mount both ears back to the case. Ensure that on the power-lead side that no cables are squished or mangled.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>That's it. Pretty easy :-)&nbsp;</p>
