Photos to come. The purpose of this adapter is to attach the KPH30i to Koss's older headbands. It allows for the replacement of the plastic headband with a steel one, with greater adjust-ability . Compatible Headbands: Sporta-Pro Porta-Pro KPH-40 (Koss x Retrospekt) Parts express headphones (limited swivel, sits deeper) Untested: KSC-75 (will need bending, Haven't attempted) KSC-35 Hardware: Flat Head, Star Drive, #2-28 Thread Size, 1/4" Length (A screw head with a little greater than 3mm in diameter will work. Flat head allows for good articulation.) To install you need to take apart the Headphone. it is easier to install pivot screw after the adapter is in place. Optional: Remove the headband. push he cups out of their soft mounts. This makes the following steps easier. -Remove the foam pad, by pulling out and away along the edge of the driver. make your way around until it is free. -Remove the driver, there are three clips holding the driver into the cup. Using a pair of flat head screwdrivers push the clip out with one while applying a slight amount of pressure to lift the driver away from the cup. It's a little annoying, I'd recommend starting nearest to the cable. Once free mind the wires. Set aside the driver they are not needed until reassembly. -Remove snap fit mount from the cup, press the hooks together and push to remove them from the cup. -Install adapter, push adapter against flat surface until it snaps into place. -Install pivot screw a little more than 3/4 of the way in. -Reassemble headphones, reinstall the foam pad. Set wire in its guide on the cup. Snap driver to cup. -Choose your desired headband.
