Can someone who has printed this please confirm that the belt slot size was correct for them. I made it fit for my printer, but I'd like confirmation that the slots print well on other printers too. The belt should slide in reasonably easily but then be secure once inserted. Designed for GT2 belt, 6mm wide, 2mm pitch. https://www.adafruit.com/product/1184 Remixed from http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:221667 I wanted to add strength by increasing the thickness of the belt holding parts. It also created empty space at the top to make inserting the nuts easier. The straight belt slots make it much easier to put the belts in. First insert the bottom end of the belt in to the middle slot, wrap the belt around the pulleys, then pull down on the top end to make it tight and slide it in to the remaining slot. I also made the teeth a little deeper. You may need to modify the width of the belt slots depending on your printer. I have added a second file which is the same part but using the original reprap stl file (https://github.com/jcrocholl/kossel/blob/master/carriage.stl) as the base. My intention was to minimise any differences from the original part. The belts slots are the same in both files.
