Kossel Mini glass bed holder

A simple holder for mounting a glass bed raised by a few millimeters on a Kossel Mini. Suitable for Kossels with 15x15 extrusions. The glass bed shown on this photos has been cut out of recycled 5mm thick window glass, that has been found on the local buyback center. It didn't cost me a buck ;-) Note: The bed will be raised slightly by about 1cm, to have enough clearance for the large thermal fuses. Print Settings Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm layer thickness Notes: I used Slic3r with 0.2mm layer thickness and a 0.5mm J-Head nozzle. Instructions Important: If you're not using a 5mm thick glass bed, adjust the thickness in the OpenSCAD file and export a new STL file. Create a paper template for cutting the glass bed, by measuring the distances inside of the notches. Apply paper template onto glass and draw outlines with a permanent marker. Remove paper template afterwards. Cut glass bed into shape. I used a simple glass cutter and cleaned the edges with sand paper. Some nice tutorials on cutting glass can be found on YouTube (e.g. just search for "cut glass"). Be careful not to cut yourself and always wear protective clothing (safety glasses and work gloves) Slice model and print glass bed holders. Mount 4x glass bed holders with screws and nuts. Insert glas bed into holders. Mount remaining 2x glass bed holders by sliding them in from the sides. That's it. A nice, raised and stable glass bed.
