Custom fan hood for Kingroon KP3 with 4010 blower fan for part cooling. I built it in two parts to allow for better print quality and strength. As such a few hardware pieces are needed. - 2 x M2 x 20mm screws. I used pan head - 2 x M2 washers (optional) - 2 x M3 x 8mm screws. These will replace the M3 x 6mm screws that hold the cover onto the carriage. - 1 x M2 x 6mm screws to secure the 4010 blower fan. The 4 bolts used to attach the original 40mm cooling fan can be used to secure it to the new hood. You will obviously need a 4010 24V blower fan. I would recommend 30-32 inch wires. I have 28 inch on mine and it is a bit too short. I included pictures show orientation on the print bed. The hood can be printed without any supports. For the bracket I used tree supports in Cura only touching build plate. I printed it in 3D Solutech PLA with 3 layer walls and 50% infill. I have had no problem with the parts closest to the hotend. This design does require the heater and thermistor are relocated to other side of heater block. Just remove grub screw at bottom of heater block, gently pull out heater and thermistor together and reinsert on other side, reinsert grub. The hood as a loop on the heatsink side. This intended to be a zip tie down point for the heater wires to isolate wire movement.
