Kreg Pocket Hole Upgrade

This is an upgrade to the Kreg Pocket Hole jig. The Kreg device as shown is no longer sold but I am sure that many thousands were sold in the past. It does an impressive job but is cumbersome to use especially when you need to cut multiple holes. My device will hold the jig in a perfect slide in fit and can be easily removed without tools. You can make multiple holes very quickly and accurately. The board width, length and height do not matter. Simply use a different mounting board for your needs. I am using a scrap 3/4 inch MDF. The clamp is a Rockler Auto-Lock Track Clamp. I have made an object that will mount it to any flat surface. The Auto-Lock will then attach to my mount object and can be easily removed without tools. Other pressure type clamps will work. This just what I had around the shop. A standard 2 1/4 shop vac hose will attach to keep the are dust free. The objects are bolted together. You will need four 8-32 bolts and hex nuts. Two of the bolts 2.25 to 2.5 inches length and two 3/4 inches length. Twelve drywall screws.
