I crafted my own custom keyboard from scratch. The reason was that the array of commercially available compact keyboards was awkward, and many required pressing keys simultaneously with the Fn key. I despised this design. Additionally, since most keyboards place the mouse on the right side, I thought it made no sense to position the arrow keys and numeric keypad there as well. Furthermore, in Japan, a keyboard with a Japanese layout is widespread. I examined nearly every commercially available keyboard, but none met my demands. Therefore, I created the keyboard myself. This is the original split keyboard version 3. It uses ISO placement. Cherry MX mechanical switches are utilized. The controller was disassembled and extracted from the Microsoft wired keyboard 600. It's then fixed to ktKEYBOARD_BASE. If you want to modify any part of this model, you can obtain and modify the following source code.
