Kubaton

Martial arts weapon designed to attack pressure points, occasionally used by law enforcement to subdue suspects by non-lethal force. Instructions I printed my kubaton in a horizontal orientation with raft and supports. I got some crappy printing on the overhang of the point, Makerware didn't think it needed supports for that part, apparently. I'd recommend printing at a minimum of 50% infill, higher if you have the plastic and the patience. It's going to have a fair amount of stress applied to it, and the first time you have to use it in self-defense would be a very bad time for it to break. The hexagonal bore through most of the grip was added to allow for the addition of lead bird shot (or similar) to increase the mass of the kubaton. If this was a bad idea as far as structural strength, I'm open to suggestions for fixes. And I feel obligated to say... Please be careful with this. The tip of the kubaton is still fairly sharp (something I may fix in a later version) and could cause real damage if used improperly. Anyways, enjoy, and most importantly, be safe.
