Kwikset knob handle

I frequently find myself needing to access a door with my hands full, which is clearly not ideal when a knob is involved. To address this issue, I've designed a simple addition that allows for hands-free access. The design has been set at 45 degrees, allowing the door to be easily opened with one's knee, which could be particularly useful for individuals with family members who suffer from arthritis. However, I'm unsure how well this would translate in Vancouver. To improve the grip on the hard brass surface, I recommend adding some electrical tape or a similar material. Additionally, a locating pin could be added if desired. While the current design does work well, I do need to revisit it and adjust the positioning of the holes relative to the contact surface to eliminate any torque issues. As always, a SCAD file is included for editing purposes, despite its untidiness.
