Kylo Ren Lightsaber

This lightsaber is designed as closely as possible to what i could find online from prop photographs and the Disney saber. I turned it into a bedside light for my son which is why there is a cable coming from it in the picture. Use supports for the best results. 2mm red wire and about .75mm blue x 2. For the blade i used 25mm x 19mm 1 meter long polycarbonate tubing. For the crossguards i wanted to go for the kind of shape in the movies so i used 3/4 of two turkey basters. Coated the blades in clear silicone and ran my hand (with glove) up the blade while opening and closing my hand. This gave the effect you can see in the close up of the blade. Filled the main blade with baking paper and the crossguards sprayed in white paint and hung to drip dry. The lights are just normal 60 leds per meter but if you want to use this as most people would i would suggest 144 leds per meter neopixel leds. I included a simple wall mount thats almost hidden behind the lightsaber in the files. Just screw them into the wall, put cable ties through the slots and tighten around the saber.
