Mini-Z Trailer hitch Designed trailer hitches that will fit different Mini-Z motor pods for the fantastic ByeByeRacing trailer. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2291466 No modification needed for the car, these will mount to the rear pod. You might need to increase the length of screws used. To attach the trailer to the hitch, use a standard M2x8mm screw (or so), through the eyelet screwed into the hitch; it will cut its own threads and hold solid. Multiple designs: Route 246-1351B motor pod: Mounts to the rear of the pod, over the carbon fiber brace. Remove the countersunk screws and use longer pan head screws. Kyosho stock motor pod: Two versions, countersunk or pan head screws. Needed to integrate the T-plate because of depth of screw/thickness. Take off the cover that goes over the diff housing (if you haven't already). Use two screws on the T-plate and one in place of the diff cover for extra strength. Kyosho MM2 motor pod: Two versions, countersunk or pan head screws. Take off the cover that goes over the diff housing (if you haven't already). Use two screws on the T-plate and one in place of the diff cover for extra strength. Spacing on T-plate works with the optional carbon T-Plates, if you are using a stock plastic T-plate, might not fit as it is thicker and the mount may stick down too much, see below for the more generic mount. Generic motor pod: Two versions, skinner one for stock T-plate and thicker one for carbon T-plate; each with countersunk screws or pan head screws. Same design at the MM2 and stock ones, but without the 3rd hole for the diff cover screw hole. Should work for any rear pod over an existing carbon T-plate. Will fit PN V4 rear pod. PN V5 motor pod: Mounts to the rear of the pod, over the carbon fiber brace. Remove the countersunk screws and use longer pan head screws. Nexx round pod: Two versions, countersunk or pan head screws. Hitch goes over the flat bar on the rear of the pod. Sorry, no pictures.
